April 2020 and we are in Isolation.
In and around Kiama everyone seems to be doing the right thing, by #stayingathome. Only heading outdoors for some exercise or the essentials, ie groceries, pharmacy, work, swim and coffee.
An early swim at the south end of Kendall's Beach really is divine and helps clear the mind for the day ahead. Grabbing a quick coffee and supporting the local cafes then heading home to research new products for the business.
Beachside Emporium is doing ok and adjusting to the changes that are going on around the world. We moved out of our physical store at the end of March like many other local retail businesses. We have been busy working on the future of the business. Participating in webinars and zoom meetings. Our online store has had some changes and we are cutting right back on our suite of products.
Our focus going forward will be unique fashion, artisan jewellery, body luxuries and our favourite Glasshouse Candles. We have a strong focus on Australian made and have also kept one of our favourite International labels, Magnolia Pearl.
Our online shop is still in its maintenance phase so apologies if you come across any stuff that doesn't make sense. (Maybe let us know too)
These are challenging times, but we are all in this together. Look after yourself and your family and stay healthy.
